Like I really needed yet another anime to adore. Grrrr.

Yes, I just finished watching the last disc of Samurai Champloo. Yes, it is way, way past my bedtime. Yes, I lack any form of common sense and/or good judgment. But, before turning in, I just had to log on to say:

OH ... MY ... GOSH ... I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! Love, love, love, love, love, love, love.

And, Jin. Could there be a more amazing, more heroic, more self-sacrificing character? Nope. Don't think so. (Uh, not like he was my fave from the show or anything ... *sheepish grin*)

I had to watch some of his more stellar "hero moments" from the last episode a couple of times. *sigh* I swear, at the end, when he made "that speech" ... well, it just made me cry like the pathetic fanbrat I am. Yep. Yet another anime man I wanna tie up and toss in the bish closet. I'm already clicking off scenes in my head that I want to screencap and then beg fancels of. Because, let's face it -- I'm either never gonna find sketches or, if I do find 'em, I'll never afford them. Bleh.

OK. That is all ... I can go to bed now, a happy, little otaku geekazoid fangirl. *grin*

No worries ... if you don't tell Aya, I won't tell Ichigo. ^^

Although ... I suspect Aya already knows something's up, considering I shoved one very rumpled, very disgruntled Jin into the bish closet in early hours of the AM. I'm not sure, but I think I heard Aya mutter something like: "Welcome to hell, Samurai boy." *snicker*

Actually, my lack of Jin luvvin' (it was there, just not very vocal) stems only from my inability to watch anime on a regular basis. Two year old kids will do that for 'ya. *grin*

*thinks she needs Jin icon for LJ*

Heh heh. I'd probably like it better if I could watch it subtitled. Yes, Jin is the hot one alright. ^_~ They just aired my favorite episode. . . you know, the one where Mugen thinks a good klonk on the head is foreplay, ends up wearing the girl as a hat at one point, and runs around screaming "I want my nookie!" And Jin, for all his stoic mysticism, can't catch a fish or a break. ^_~

Oh ... my ... gosh! I LOVED that episode!! True, Jin never caught much of a break (or a fish) ... but, I agreed, wholeheartedly, every time those "ladies of the evening" purred: "Master Jin!"

*snicker*

Mugen was too darn funny in that episode, too. And, the girl ... at the end, when she says: "That is the man I'm going to marry." So, looks like Mugen might get his nookie one day, after all -- seriously delayed, but, still ...

*snicker*

Master Jin! *snicker*

As painful as it was, I have to say episode 26 is my favorite. Jin was just so absolutely heroic in it. *sigh* ... *melts into fangirl puddle*

*ahem* I'm not so sure those ladies of the evening were all ladies. *snicker*

"Ow. . . my back. . . " Just how old are you "Master Jin?" *snerk*

Yeah ... some of them were on the ... um ... oogly side. Poor Jin.

...

Oh, I mean MASTER Jin.

The back thing made me wonder just exactly what had been going on ... o.o ... o.O ... >

Although I haven't seen all the series (only through about episode 12) and I admit that Jin is cool... however, I have to admit like Mugen better. I guess I just like rebels who are rough around the edges. My Fangirl squeal is still reserved for someone in black leather pants and vest with an attitude a mile wide.

Although he's been grousing that I haven't been writing enough while I try to finish the computer game that's currently got me obsessed and it's kid friendly.

I so know your pain with the kiddo...and unfortunately, I don't have good news, it's only going to get worse before it gets better. At least you have Howl. Hopefully they've killed the big purple dinosaur that was the bane of my parental existence when my son was little.

Heh, heh ... Barney is alive and well and living in ... well, wherever it is that he lives. Luckily for me, my kiddo does not like him. She likes seeing pictures of him, but the show bores her. She is totally into Dora the Explorer and Diego, and, actually, those shows are not all that bad. She also likes to watch a lot of anime. I have lots of shows she can watch. Samurai Champloo just happens to be one of those rare ones that she can't see b/c of the more realistic violence and the cursing. o.o

Mugen is a great character. But, for some reason, I seem to always go for those reserved, self-sacrificing types of hero guys. I guess Jin, to me, just seems like there is so much more under the surface than you could ever guess. Plus, he's just darn cute in his glasses -- even if they are "just for show". LOL

*runs off to bish closet, calling: "Oh, Master Jin!!"* ... *giggle*

Of course, we all know my favorite flowery assassin will always hold the only true key to my heart ... but it is fun having a very full bish closet. *grin*
