I am glad I didn't have to drive in it. I was supposed to do stuff today, but nothing that I couldn't reschedule -- which is what I did. I wasn't expecting as much snow as we got, though. I was expecting the one or two inches, so I was surprised when it kept falling (and pretty heavily, too) all day.
Hubby was on his way home from Miami today. Last night, he paid to change his reservation to an earlier flight, which ended up being lucky. If he hadn't had a reservation for it, he wouldn't have made it home, as his flight was the last one they let out of Miami headed for DC. All the later flights were canceled. Then, he had to sit on the plane for over an hour because the gate was too snowed in and they couldn't unload. And then he had to wait for almost another hour in the taxi line. His flight actually arrived at Dulles at around 3:20, but he didn't make it home until almost 7. Poor guy. He was probably way hating the snow today.
(But I was still all happy about it. I'm terrible ... I know. *shame* =D)
