*hugs back* It's a terrible feeling, isn't it? Ugh.
Luckily, I was able to get the house cleaned. I was supposed to have friends over yesterday evening, so hubby pitched in to help me finish up the few things that I hadn't done yet. Even though I ended up doing most of the cleaning, it still helped to have a little assistance. Funny how that works -- LOL! Our friends ended up not coming because their son was sick, but it's still nice to have a clean house. =P
I haven't pulled out anything for painting yet. Once I decided to invite people over, I figured I should leave stuff put away. I have to paint on our dining room table. Not a problem if it's just the family, because we can work around it all so that I can leave my supplies and project out on the table. It's a pain to put everything away when I'm in the middle of something. Anyhow, I am hoping to paint sometime this next week. *fingers crossed*
