Yay for surprise and happy-sqweely auction wins. I totally hear 'ya on the whole crappy exchange rate thing. It's so freaking painful. I really have to make sure it's something that will be worth it to me. At this point, there are a lot of things I just don't bid on because I can't mentally justify it. But this auction ... I actually bid a LOT higher than the OP bid. I still can't believe I got it for such a relatively low price. I guess it means no one but me would think it's beautiful -- but, hey -- more artwork for me! Woot!! =D
Hubby seems to be doing OK, overall. He went to work for most of the day today. Came home and is taking a short nap. So I hope he'll snap back to "regular" time pretty soon. I hate even changing an hour when we fall back and spring forward. So I know I would HATE such a huge time change. >.O
