We found a police blog on the internet that said they had cornered an armed robber in a house down the street from us. At least it wasn't it our neighborhood.
Speaking of which -- surrounded the house right next door to yours? zOMG! That must have been terrifying! And even worse to never find out what really happened. I would hate that. *HUGS*
