I'm still in that "not gonna freak out" mode. It's working for the most part, but ... yeah, the freak-out still manages to sneak up on me. I guess that's going to be the case until I have definite answers or at least some small reassurance. In the meantime, waiting continues ... not fun.

But, in an attempt to make a happy sort of post ...

New Fan Cels!

I finished up a couple of fancels, which I made for my good friend [livejournal.com profile] steffannee . She was good enough to send several images my way when I asked for stuff to practice on. And she is kind enough not to laugh at the results, too. *huggles her*

New Phone!

I finally gave up on my BB. On the first one I had, the track ball kept sticking. I put up with it for a long time -- over a year, if not a couple of years -- but the problem just got worse. So, I sent it off to get a new one. The new one came, and it seemed fine at first. But after a bit, the keyboard stopped working on the right side. No return key, no delete button, none of the letters on that half of the keyboard. So frustrating. Bleh. I took it back to Verizon, and they told me I could send it back to get another one ... or I could upgrade to a new phone. So I took the upgrade. I am now the proud owner of a Droid2. My hubby has a Droid, and he loves it. I've never been crazy about it, because I always hit the buttons on the side when I handled it and such. So I was leery of trying the Droid2. It doesn't have buttons on the side, though ... and the larger screen and faster browsing speed sold me. So far, I love it. Hopefully that will continue. *crosses fingers*

And a Tour!

We are going to the White House tonight for a tour. It's pretty exciting, and I hope it will be a fun experience. I'm a little nervous about going to such an important place, although I guess that's pretty silly of me. At any rate, not our normal Sunday night family activity -- ha, ha!

So I don't usually answer these, but, when I saw this one posted today ... Well, I felt drawn to it somehow. Maybe because the answer for me is oddly easy.

I would choose to visit my own fictional world. Because it would mean I was actually working on my book and moving it farther along toward "finished". >.O

Other than my own fictional world, I would probably choose to visit the Harry Potter world. I think. Mainly because I would love the chance to live in a huge, magical castle. And I loved the whole flying car thing and Diagon Alley, too. I could do without the creeping stink evil wizard and all ... but I suppose no place is perfect. Not even a fictional world.

I wouldn't mind visiting the DiscWorld, too. Just because it's such a fun and freaky place. And it doesn't take itself too seriously. I love that.
