New Gallery ... and Awards (eeek!) =D

My new gallery site is up and ready to go -- finally! *falls over*

I still need to tinker with a few things. I have to add some text and series descriptions here and there. The wishlist isn't even close to complete (I don't have any of my bazillion and one wishes uploaded yet! o_o) And I haven't yet uploaded the original and fan art sections. But I'm pretty sure I got all the production stuff uploaded. And managed to figure out a new, more customized layout graphic and such. Which means I feel ready for people to see it, if they want.

OK, so this is going to sound ridiculously stupid, but I'm gonna say it anyhow:

OMG! When did my collection grow so much? It took me 3 months to upload everything, which, in itself, surprised me. Then, once I was done and looked at the "final" totals for each category and series, I was like ---> O_o. I never realized just how much stuff I've gathered together over the years. So, yeah, I was shocked to realize I have a large collection. (I think I can call it "large" without seeming like a moron or something.) I dunno ... Since I usually add things a piece or two at a time, I guess I never realized how much the collection had grown as a whole. (Or how very, very addicted I am to this obsession ... er, I mean ... "hobby". o_o

And in other happy news ...

I got super lucky in the Anime Beta Sketch Awards! I'm totally and happily shocked that I won anything at all, so seeing that folks had voted for my entries yesterday really made my day.

And (!!) My Rubberslug gallery made it to 40K hits yesterday, too!!! *tosses confetti in celebration*

So, yesterday ended up being a happy-happy-gallery-art celebration day. And I needed the happy vibes a lot, as this week has been a hard and sad one for my family. I'll take the happy-happy-joy-joy wherever I can get it. =D
