FUN!!!

Today, I headed out for a little get-together with skyrat13 and genuinelie. I was a bit nervous because it was my first time meeting them in person, even though Skyrat was one of my first cel-collecting friends and one of my first online friends, too. I'm totally socially inept, so I didn't want to seem like the big doofus that I am. (eek!)

It was super fun! Genuinelie made the most awesome bruschetta, soup, and scones. As well as salad, courtesy of Skyrat. And yummy iced tea. Top that off with a lot of chit-chatting and a wonderful Weiss fangirl-fest, and I was in total Heaven!!

It's been a long time since I got to hang out with friends and just be "normal". (Or as normal as I can manage, anyhow -- lolz.) Because I have a small child, I'm usually in "mommy mode", which is not conducive to hanging out ... or fangirling ... or, well, being "normal". Because when you're "mom" that's exactly who and what you have to be. It can be tiring, so being able to relax, recharge, and enjoy some great conversation was a wonderful, wonderful treat. *happy vibez*
