Happiness Vibes ...

Lotsa fangirl happiness vibes exuding from the Bish Closet today. Er, well, my resident assassins aren't too chipper, but, then again ... are they ever? *nervous laugh* Even so, I'm a very, very happy Tex-chan, thanks to my mail carrier.

You guys all know what that means, eh? Yep! New cels! Just one cel in this case, but I feel it's pretty darn special. Special enough to fangirl sqwee over, even if it is the only gallery addition today.

I can't even begin to express how very, very thrilled I am over getting this cel. I love this opening, and, in particular, getting such a gorgeous close-up shot feels like an incredible stroke of good luck. Just, everything about this one is so perfect to me. It's in such pristine, beautiful condition. The lines, the colors ... all gorgeous, I think. I love the expression on Orphen's face, the action in the shot, the very three-dimensional look to it, caused by the flying debris. Just ... everything. I couldn't ask for a more beautiful cel. I'm so, so grateful to Kata for selling it to me. *GLOMS Kata*

In other gallery news, the "housekeeping" maintenance on my Rubberslug gallery continues. It's slow going, especially since I lack the time to sit at the computer for hours at a time (because of getting called away for other things), and that's what it would take to finish this thing up within a reasonable time. I was going to redo with a new layout -- new banners, etc. But, I think I won't do that right now. A couple of months ago, I made banners that would add a bit more color into the layout ... but the more I look at the monochrome scheme, the more I like it. I don't know what gives in that regard. I see other folks' layouts that I love, and they are full of bright, beautiful color. And yet, when I try to do something along those same lines ... I am almost always dissatisfied with the results. So, I guess, for now, I'm still in a monochrome frame of mind. *nervous laugh*

Don't get me wrong -- I really do like my RS layout, even though I've had this one up for a while. It's just that I kind of wonder what's wrong with me that I can like things in other galleries, and, yet, not like them in my own. (not sure if that makes any sense, but ... *sweatdrop*) At any rate, I'll be keeping the same basic "look" to the gallery. I have been planning on redoing my thumbnails and large images ... so I might go ahead with those changes now, since the gallery is already delisted for maintenance. It will mean keeping things closed down for a bit longer ... but it would be nice to have all of that stuff done.

So much to do ... never enough time. Wheee! =P
