Vancouver Pics, 2 of 3: Granville Island

texchanThis set of photos is from Granville Island. It's a really neat area with great shopping. Although I made some neat purchases there (SCORE! =D), I didn't get many pics. The light just wasn't all that great on this particular day. Ah well.
Dogs in a Stroller: Because ... well, this kind of cracked me up. The dogs seemed like they were having a great time, though. Heh.
Sparrow:
Because it was cute ... and, well, there. =P
Flowers:
I have no idea what kind of plant this is, but I thought the flowers looked neat. Especially close up.
Boy & Mom:
There are a couple of really neat exhibits at the entrance to the shopping area. I'm not sure what they're called, but they are the kind of thing where a wheel moves and lifts a ball to the top of a bunch of ramps and tunnels ... then you watch the ball travel back down to the bottom. Anyhow, this little boy really had a great time watching.
Coast Restaurant:
We ate at this really great seafood place that evening. It's actually in Yaletown, which isn't too far from Granville Island, and it was called Coast. The food was fantastic. I snapped this pic of the bar from our table inside the restaurant. I was pretty happy with how it came out. I think it might be my favorite shot from the whole trip, believe it or not.
