An Update ... and Kiddo Cuteness ...
So, I posted a large (for me) udpate to my cel gallery today. Started it yesterday and finished it today. I've got some really nice stuff in here, too. Um, well, I think it's nice, so ... yeah. *blushes*
Ahem. Anyhow, I added in some Flame of Recca stuff, Virus, Tenshi ni Narumon, and four wonderful pieces of Crystal's artwork (Aya, Howl, Roy Mustang, and Alucard *.*). I'm soooo in love with the Crystal paintings and prints. Seriously, I could just stare at them for hours and hours and hours. Especially the Aya. Oh my ... I think Crystal made me fall even more in love with him -- something I did not think possible. But, this painting is just so, so perfect. (Too bad he's not real ... darnit -.-)
So, linkage to the "new stuff" page in my RS gallery. No commentary, but you can at least look at the pretty pictures, if you want to. http://geckoblue.rubberslug.com/gallery/master_query.asp?SeriesID=19300
And, for the "kiddo cuteness" part of this post ...
The paintings from Crystal arrived yesterday, while my kiddo was sleeping. I, of course, wasted no time in opening up the package and oggling all the pretties. Did my fair share of drooling, too. So, when my kid got up, I told her: "Go to the office and look on Mommy's desk. I have something to show you." She runs off to the office (with the exuberance that only a two-year-old can display), and finds the paintings. Alucard and Roy didn't impress her too much. But, she found the Aya painting, and said: "Oooh! Mommy, look! It's AYA!" And, then, she reaches the Howl painting. She looks at it for a good, long time, and says, "Mommy, Mommy! It's Mr. Howl! Did you get that for me?"
*giggle*
Oh my ... that's my kiddo! *grins*

Sounds like you're going to have to start saving your pennies and go to Japan so you can visit the Ghibli Museum! XD

Yeah. I can definitely see this happening. But, don't tell my hubby. I so hate seeing a grown man cry. *snicker*
Well, when she asked if I got it for her, I told her we would go to Michael's, get a frame for it, and hang it up on the wall, so we could both look at it all the time. Her response: "Oh boy!"
It's so nice when they're little like this -- so easy to make them happy. *laugh*
And, I ADORE the Aya. I didn't think I could love any painting more than the Howl one, but ... yeah ... the Aya was tops. And, believe me, all of Crystal's work is so beautiful, that was some really tough competition! ^.^
